9-6-25 – We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who participated in the Central Joint Firefighters Association’s 2025 annual golf outing. The event featured enjoyable side games and delicious food prepared by our members. We are grateful to Birch Rin Golf Club for providing us with a venue to host our event. Thank you to those that donated door prizes. The funds raised will support scholarships for high school students residing in our fire district who attend Bowling Green High School or Elmwood Local Schools. This year’s event was remarkable, with a tie for first place that was ultimately decided by a putt-off. The signs of our sponsors will be displayed outside the Central Joint Fire District station, allowing our community to acknowledge their support. Central Joint Fire District

8-16-25 – Our Annual Golf outing is fast approaching. We raise funds to support Scholarships for students who attend Elmwood and Bowling Green schools.

8-10-25 – A rescue operation was conducted by the Central Joint Fire District and Mid-County Ambulance District 120 on August 7, 2025, at a local farm where an individual was trapped within a grain bin. The initial evaluation upon arrival indicated one patient was submerged in a corn bin up to shoulder level. The extensive training received by firefighters in grain bin rescue operations proved beneficial as they deployed the grain rescue tube, auger, and high-angle rope rescue equipment effectively. Firefighters achieved safe entry into the grain bin and extricated the person successfully in approximately one hour. Central Joint Fire District Mid-County Ambulance District 120
