Training Opportunities

The Central Joint Fire District provides a wide array of training opportunities for its members as well as Fire / EMS personnel from around Northwest Ohio.  Central Joint Fire / EMS instructors teach through Vanguard – Sentinel Adult Career & Technology Center in Fremont Ohio.  All courses are offered in our facility located at 13179 Mermill RD Portage Ohio.

Courses are offered on demand, meaning that as a course meets the minimum number of students it is offered.  We try our best to offer the Volunteer Firefighter course in the Fall and Spring along with an EMR course over the winter months.  Please feel free to Contact Us if you have any questions.

Course Descriptions: For full course offerings, please click the Adult Workforce Development Course Catalog.
