The Central Joint Fire District is pleased to announce the firefighter and officer of the year. Firefighter and Paramedic Mike Brown was the recipient of the 2015 firefighter of the year plaque. He has continued to be a young leader in our department. Someone we can always rely on, he works extremely hard at everything he does and is a great role model. FF Brown has taken on many tasks around the station and the leadership team knows they will be done extremely well when he is on the detail.
Lt. Danny Zeigler has been named the 2015 officer of the year. Danny is a true blessing. He has an amazing personality and is a born leader. Everyone who works for and with Danny are always happy to learn from him. Danny has many responsibilities at the fire station, chief among them is overseeing all of our loose equipment used during emergencies. Our equipment is always ready for use and in great condition thanks to his leadership.
Friend of the Fire District
Erik Blake was named the 2015 Friend of the Fire District. Erik works for the Northwestern Water and Sewer District in their GIS department. Erik has been a huge asset to the fire district over the past several years, preparing maps for our use during an emergency. The fire hydrant maps have been especially helpful, ensuring we know the locations and status of each. A huge thank you to Erik and the NWWSD for their continued support of CJFD and our mission to serve the public.
